Lagotto rehome
STOP PRESS JULY
We have a three year old castrated male Lagotto looking for a new home with sympathetic but experienced owners. He would be ideal as an only dog but is not suitable for a family with young children.

He is rather worried about loud bangs so would not be suitable for being shot over.

Lagotto Rehome have two Lagotto needing new homes:
Mico is just five, off white, male, entire, walks off lead, ok to clip and has been quite well socialised. His reason for being rehomed is that he is very active - almost hyperactive. In a word he is bored, making mischief and needs something to do to occupy his mind. He would be ideal for agility as he is very responsive to his owner - almost too responsive as he watches her continually. He is not used to young children but seems ok with other dogs. He is quite a self contained dog and is very good in the car.  He barks quite alot probably from frustration and boredom. This habit can be cured quite easily.

His younger half brother Henry (same mum) is three years old and also off white. He is castrated, is good in kennels with other dogs, is ok to clip but is very overweight due to the fact that he is hardly ever walked. He has never been taught not to pull on the lead so would need some intensive training (and slimming!). He needs to be rehomed because his elderly owner became ill not very long after having him and sadly died before he was a year old. Her son has made a valiant attempt to keep his mother's dogs - a Vizsla almost the same age as the Lagotto. Unfortunately Henry being a Lagotto is not so easy going as the Vizsla and his current owner cannot cope with walking both at the same time. Thus Henry has spent much of the last year or so either in the house for much of the day or in kennels. He is not used to young children but would make an excellent companion if given some basic training
