We’re delighted to announce the first ever winner of our Special Lagotto of the Year award for 2025-2026:
Stanley, owned by Sarah Saunders, with his winning ‘Grancanna Salver’ and Rosette
Stanley’s nomination came from the school where he works as a Pets As Therapy dog. Some of the lovely comments are included below:
“Every Wednesday, when Stanley walks the school corridors, the cry of ‘It’s Stanley!’ can be heard and everyone is lifted by his presence.”
“Stanley and Sarah were present for one of our OFSTED inspection days and the inspectors were very impressed and he was referenced in feedback to the management team and played his part in our Outstanding judgement.”
“He is a calm, patient and loving dog, who has made such a difference throughout our school. He and Sarah are part of our family and we don’t know what we would do without them.”
